Uworld vs archer

Hi, a lot of people will say UWorld but I just wanted to say that I only used Archer & mark klimeck lectures and found myself feeling very prepared for the NCLEX & passed on my first try. I just couldn't get myself to pay for UWorld when Archer was a fraction of the price. I'm not really familiar with archer.

I used ATI in nursing school. I just took my nclex and passed. Honestly, ATI is nothing compared to the nclex. UWORLD is your best bet! Good luck!! People I went to school with said uWorld is harder than the NCLEX and over prepares you for it and have passed on the first try. For me, they were nothing like ATI.I feel like hurst allowed for a good understanding of the content and really difficult questions. Archer also had hard questions, not quite as hard as hurst. But comparable to NCLEX style questions. Marks lectures help you with labs and really narrowing the need to know content. A full course at UWorld costs $279, and a Nursing.com course is $246. There are regular sales and discounts on both sites. However, price shouldn’t be the deciding factor, as both services offer different coursework. Uworld has a lot of content. It didn’t motivate me that much, but everyone’s different. I haven’t passed yet, but Archer is working good for me and has a lot of features. I’m using it along with the new version of Remar Quick facts and NCLEX crusade for critical thinking. It’s helping me with the scores. Btw Archer is way cheaper.The live NCLEX classes offer a ton of value. This is especially true given that this package is only $100 more than the self-paced prep course from Kaplan. 18 hours of live class time with some awesome instructors comes out to like $5.50 per class. Everyone has a different style however I’ve always been a horrible test taker. First time around I solely used Mark K lectures (would recommend, very helpful tips/mnemonics), and archer.
