We visited the National Zoo on our last visit. My in laws wanted to see the giant pandas but not the whole zoo. We didn't mind since we had seen the whole zoo last time. Also it was very cool (40s) and rainy. So we got to the zoo around 8:30am (it opens at 8am) and the panda exhibit opens at 9am. We saw some other animals on the way to the pandas.
