Apr 16, 2018 · Multishot just messes with the displayed value since it shows the chance that at least one of the projectiles per shot is a crit or status proc. So even though the actual amounts of crits/procs per second is the same with increased fire rate or multishot, multishot will show a higher value because of the extra projectiles per shot.

Multishot is usually one of the best single mods for improving damage, and is used in nearly all damage builds. And most status builds as well.
